No engagement from a visit
Opening a page, sending a form, or picking a time is a request for a conversation. It is not an agreement that we will keep the books, prepare a return, or stay on for a year. The conversation names the work. If both sides want it, a separate agreement says so. Until that exists, either side can stop.
The form in the picture is a public federal schedule, and it is on this page because the terms should be as plain as a form line. Nothing about the picture is a promise of a result. A clean close is something we work toward. A warranty is a different paper, and these terms are not one.
What the work can include
The ordinary work is the field list read before it posts, the books, reconciliations, statements, reports, payroll set up with a provider the owner runs, and the return. Decisions before the year ends are part of the conversation. Attest work is not. A notice that turns into a dispute is not something we argue. The disclosures page draws that line in full, and these terms follow it.
You keep ownership of your file. We keep our working papers. A password to the field software or to the books is not something these pages ask for, and a term that required one would be a term we would refuse.
Limits
Tax rates change, and a sentence on this site can go stale. The instructions published for that form control when they and this site disagree. We correct a wrong sentence on the page itself. We do not owe a particular refund, a particular saving, or a particular outcome from a letter.
If a disagreement about these pages has to be decided by a court, that court is in Dallas County, Texas, and the phone number under the page is where the conversation starts before anyone files. If a sentence here conflicts with a later written agreement for the work, the later agreement controls the work and these terms still control the use of the site.
Changes
We can change these terms by replacing this page. A change does not rewrite an agreement already signed. Continued use of the site after a change means the new terms cover the use. The work, if any, stays on its own paper.
A form on this site is a request, not a contract, and a missed call is not a breach. If we cannot take the work, we say so. If you decide the month is not something you want help with, you say so. The form in the picture stays a form either way. The phone number under the page is enough to start that conversation or to end it.
